The Cuckoo’s Nest is a gay men’s bar and has been a well-known establishment in the city since 1984. Originally started as a leather bar, it now attracts a diverse crowd.
The bar is famous for its spacious darkroom in the basement, which is one of the largest in Europe.
Step into The Cuckoo’s Nest and feel the hot, electric atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Order a drink at the bar and choose your pace, will you ease into the night or explore the catacombs right away? For peace of mind, a guarded cloakroom is available. While the bar has few restrictions, purchasing at least one drink is required. Above all, we prioritize a Safe Space, where consent is key.
Entry is free, but a drink purchase is required. You must be 18+ to join. We are a "safe sex zone"—consent is a must. Photos? Only with permission. Large bags aren’t allowed in the darkroom and may be checked. The use of prohibited substances, as well as the sale of drugs and prostitution, are strictly forbidden.
